WAPD Bursary for Local 002 Members

If you applied for the 2023 bursary and were successful you will be receiving an email. Those who did not receive the bursary, here are a few reasons why:

  • Did not attend Introduction to the Union (as confirmed by AUPE)

  • Did not attend a chapter meeting-per attendance sheets submitted.

  • Not all chapters submitted an attendance for Chapter Meetings in their area.

  • Your receipt was for an item that is not covered by WAPD as covered in the FAQs

  • Did not provide a receipt that was accepted. (example: word document/item not on receipt)

  • WAPD is for members only, not family or groups.

  • You were no longer a member of Local 002 at time of disbursement.

DO NOT call AUPE Resource Center-this is a Local 002 Bursary.
