Talks continue, new mediation dates set 

Your negotiating team and the employer continued with formal mediation on June 17 and 18. We agreed to schedule more meetings in July in an effort to reach a deal at the table. 

Both sides engaged in thorough discussions on several key issues with the assistance of mediator Rick Wilson.  

Your team has restructured our proposals to align more closely with other settlements in the province. The mediator is taking his future recommendations very seriously. 

Additional mediation dates have been scheduled for July 3, 10, 15 and 16. 

You can show your solidarity by wearing red to work on those days. 

Thank you for your engagement and patience as the bargaining process continues. Your Government Services Bargaining Committee (GSBC) is working hard to get you the collective agreement that you need and deserve.
