In Loving Memory of Dr. Bede Eke

With heavy hearts, we would like to share the news of the passing of our dear colleague, Bede Eke, a long time Local 002 member, dedicated public servant, and union leader.

Bede was not only a valued public servant with the Government of Alberta for over 11 years, but also a trusted voice with AUPE Local 002 and a valued member of our Bargaining Committee. He brought compassion, clarity and integrity to every conversation. Local 002 always appreciated his thoughtful input and steady presence.

He leaves behind his wife and three children. His eldest daughter, Michelle, has created a fundraiser to support the family during this difficult time.
