DEI 101 – Building Inclusive Workplaces Webinar
The Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility (IDEA) Committee is pleased to invite you to our first webinar!
DEI 101 – Building Inclusive Workplaces
Wednesday October 8, 2025 - 12 to 1 PM
What does it mean to build a workplace where everyone feels safe, respected, and able to thrive? Join us for an interactive session designed to introduce the core concepts of diversity, equity, and inclusion and why they matter in every organization.
Together, we will explore:
The foundations of DEI and how they differ from one another.
Power and privilege—what they mean in our daily work.
The role of intersectionality in shaping experiences.
Practical steps to build inclusive cultures and address bias.
The balance of advocacy vs. activism in creating real change.
Participants will leave with practical strategies, reflection tools, and the confidence to contribute to more equitable and supportive workplaces.
